Hot Chocolate Cookies:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Beat the butter with both sugar for 1 to 2 minutes, until creamy
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a spoon.
- Roll cookie dough into balls and place onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. Pour in the wet ingredients; mix until well blended. Spread evenly in a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is no longer shiny. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
